Chez Jean-Claude Patisserie Leederville

When we returned from spending a few weeks in Europe the first thing we did after dropping our bags in the hallway was to find some lunch! We jumped in the car and headed towards West Leederville. Chez Jean-Claude is a Swiss Patisserie and as we always frequent the store in Subiaco we decided to try the West Leederville location as it offers cafe style facilities.

The West Leederville store is situated in the middle of the business district and a popular at lunch time during the week. It is much larger than the Subiaco store with a great alfresco area to sit and enjoy whatever you may purchase. (the one in Subiaco is a Patisserie – purchase and takeaway only).

We ordered chicken grilled baguettes and coffees. As I expected the rolls were incredible – so much flavor and the bread, wow! It is always good to have a roll where there is more filling than bread! Chez Jean-Claude’s recipe for their bread is spot on, it is light and not too heavy. Being able to order a coffee is the draw card to this cafe and it was just fine.

You can also purchase their wide range of patisserie cakes and also order online from the website.
